Welcome

We work with wellness coaches who want an intentional, elevated brand ecosystem but don’t want the overwhelm of building it alone.

Welcome to the movement

I grew up in a small PNW town in the 90s/2000s. We had lots of quick dinners, whatever was on sale, and a general sense that if you were thin and functioning, you were “healthy enough.” My mom was a vegetarian in that old-school way where you just… don’t eat meat and try to take supplements. Half the products in our house had ingredients I still can’t pronounce. It's not that we were intentionally neglecting our health, it was just normal. Most families around us lived the same way, or worse, and no one questioned it.

My childhood itself was a little chaotic, so even as a kid, I gravitated toward anything that felt predictable. I was the girl with the planner stuffed full of sticky notes & dividers, the binders with homemade covers, every color of highlighter, and flashcards for literally everything. Organization wasn’t a cute Pinterest hobby for me, it was survival. Planning made the world make sense. It gave me a sense of control long before I understood what coping mechanisms were or why I needed them in the first place.

While some parents pass down trust funds and appreciating assets, mine unintentionally passed down trauma and addiction. They did the best they could with what they knew, but what they knew wasn’t much when it came to health or emotional resilience. Eventually, I learned just how much those experiences shaped everything about how I think, the way I approach wellness, the way I look at behavior, and the way I’ve built my business.

let me be upfront

MEET MEGAN

My Story

There are people who grow up knowing exactly what they want to do. And then there are people like me. People who followed the path they were told was “practical,” while pushing their real strengths off to the side. When I think back, it’s obvious where this started. I was the kid who lived for creativity. My favorite hobby wasn’t sports, it was scrapbooking. The textures, the colors, the patterns, the layering… I could get lost in it for hours. The sound of cardstock in the squiggly scissors, the glue stick smearing across the page, the smell of new stickers. The little THRILL of a fresh gel pen!

In high school, that same instinct took shape in different ways. I joined the yearbook staff and quickly became the person who stayed late to design page layouts when everyone else went home. I even helped design our team t-shirts. And one afternoon, a representative from a design college came to speak to our class, and something clicked. “Oh,” I thought. “This is a real career.” I remember walking out of that classroom lighter, almost relieved that what I loved had a place in the world. And then I remember walking into my house and having that feeling drop out from under me.
My mom, who loved me and feared the world for me, didn’t even let me finish my sentence before she said, “Artists don’t make money.” I don't blame her. It wasn’t cruelty, it was fear. She had known scarcity in ways I never had. She wanted safety for me in the only way she understood it. But that moment shaped me more than I realized. I tucked my creative instincts away. I chose psychology because it was the closest degree I could find that blended my curiosity with the stability she wanted for me. Psychology became my world for a while. I studied behavior, decision-making, motivation, and all the things that control our lives.

I learned why people change and why they don’t. And whether I knew it or not, I was building the foundation for what I do now. But the thing is... I didn’t trust myself. Not with big decisions, not with my career, not even with what I wanted. When you grow up with someone who loves you so much they try to steer your whole life, it’s easy to outsource your agency. My mom’s voice was louder than my own, and somewhere along the way, I lost the thread of who I was. I became the person who asked everyone else for their opinion before I listened to my own. I tried to make myself small enough to avoid rocking the boat.

I work with wellness coaches because they’re doing some of the most important work in the world—helping people heal, strengthen, and reclaim their lives.

and then my mom died...

There’s no neat way to summarize what that does to a person. There’s the grief, of course, which is completely disorienting. But there’s also the strange rearranging of everything you thought you understood. Her death sent me searching. For answers. For meaning. For the truth about how she lived and how I was living. I went down a rabbit hole of wellness. Not the trendy kind, but the kind you turn to when your life depends on it. I started looking at what decades of stress, avoidance, and misalignment can do to a body. I looked at what I had normalized. And what she had normalized.

And slowly, I made changes. I cut out the things that were numbing me. I started moving my body again. I cleaned up my food. I slept. I walked. I started to learn how to take care of myself and listen to what my body was begging for all along. And for the first time in a very long time, I felt like I could hear myself think. That’s the thing about losing someone: you stop confusing fear with wisdom. Somewhere in that process, I found my way back to design again. Not on purpose, almost accidentally. I opened Canva one afternoon and started playing with layouts, colors, hierarchy. And that old version of me, the one who stayed late in the yearbook room, came back like it had never left. It felt like remembering a language I used to be fluent in.

And that feels like a                 worth building.

  • The friends who rely on them
  • The systems and circles around every single person they reach

So I Built This...

Building systems for coaches who are already changing lives creates a ripple effect of wellness, education, and hope. That's what this business is all about. Wellness coaches are often born from lived experience, their own healing, or the pain of watching someone they love struggle. They’re trying to make the world better in ways that matter. They have heart, purpose, and integrity.

But they’re often drowning in the operational side of business because no one taught them systems the way they taught themselves transformation. This matters, especially now. We’re living in a time when chronic illness is rising, young adults are getting sicker, basic preventative care is misunderstood, and stress is the air everyone breathes. The world needs more people who can help others learn how to live a healthy, happy life.

Here's Why

Because those people, wellness coaches, can’t do their best work if they’re buried under admin, broken tech, and systems held together by duct tape. My role in this moment is simple: make it easier for them to help more people. Design, psychology, behavior change, systems thinking - the skills that come naturally to me are the exact things they shouldn’t have to master. Guided Growth Systems is a business built from the scrapbooking kid who saw the world in layers and patterns. From the psychology student who wanted to understand why we do what we do. From the woman who rebuilt her life after losing the person she relied on most.

From the coach who finally trusted her own voice. And from the founder who believes that supporting those who support others is how we make a dent in the world. I don’t want to “scale a company.” I want to scale a movement. One that empowers wellness coaches to do their real work without burning out or breaking under the weight of running a business alone. If I can build the systems that let them show up fully, consistently, and sustainably… then maybe, in some small way, the world becomes a healthier place because I leaned into what I’ve always been good at.

My mission is simple: to empower the people who are empowering others

I take this work seriously, because I know that when you fix one coach's backend, you are indirectly helping:

And that feels like a          worth building.

Why Us

Because your mission deserves a system built with the same care you give your clients.

You didn’t choose this work because it’s easy. You choose it because you care about people, about healing, about creating change that lasts longer than a trend cycle. Your business deserves a backend that honors that level of intention. At Guided Growth Systems, we don’t see your website, CRM, or automations as “tech.” We see them as extensions of your values, your leadership, and the experience you’re trying to create for the people you serve.

This is why we build the way we do.

Our Philosophy

Human-first systems.

Because no automation matters if it disconnects you from your people.

Behavior-informed design.

Your systems should support real-world habits, not fight against them.

Simple, but not shallow.

Depth doesn’t have to be complicated. Clarity is the most premium feeling there is.

Wellness-first operations.

You can scale without burnout when the backend carries its weight.

A long-view approach.

We build your business from the future you’re creating, not the overwhelm you're trying to escape.

These aren’t marketing ideas.

They’re principles shaped by a background in psychology, behavior change, wellness, and systems thinking, and by a decade spent observing what actually helps humans follow through. What makes Guided Growth Systems different isn’t flashy features or endless dashboards. It’s perspective.
